Backstage at the Masque benefit in 1978, Jenny Lens captured a tauntingly calm Alice Bag, leaning towards the camera, daring you to get too close. Alice fronted The Bags, often considered the first hardcore punk band, if not one of the most significant bands of the LA punk scene in the late 70’s.
